Cellulitus

Update from the vet. Denali has developed cellulitus in her leg with the bowed tendon. She is on antibiotics and stall rest. Send her good thoughts. I guess it looks like a tree trunk. I hate being away from her. Ugh.

In PA on my phone so short post.

Glad she's under a vet's care - it should clear up OK with the antibiotics.

Cellulitis is no fun. My mare is prone to it too, thus the $260 I just spent on a case of scratches...

Yuck! I am glad she is at the vets so you know at least she is well cared for. Sounds like this should clear up - poor baby. Try to enjoy your vaca and not stress to much.

At least you know she's getting expert care, I hope that makes your holiday a little less stressful. So... does she actually have a bowed tendon as well, or was the swelling all just caused by the cellulitis? Poor girlie, I hope she's feeling better soon.

Aww poor girl. I'm sure she'll be just fine in a few days. :) Hope your trip is going well!
