Niedersuss Symphony Ideas?

Okay! Here it is.... well not "the one" but another one that I am suppose to go look at. What do you think? My only concern is that it is a MW, and althought I'm 99% sure my current saddle is a medium wide, I know that Niedersuss tend to run a little bigger. Ideas? It's a Niedersuss Symphony, 17" seat (another problem, my current is 18, but again, I rode in my old trainers and I'm 99% sure it was a 17, and I had no problems) She's asking $700.00 for it. Enough for precentages! Give me your thoughts! :)

Nice saddle - but does it fit the horse?

Good question! I'm hoping, I'm going tonight to get it and try it out!

I would recommend something with an adjustable gullet for you and D. Everyone in my barn has some sort of saddle with an adjustable gullet in it. And about once a month we check all the saddles and change them as needed. I’ve already had to switch the gullet on mine 3 times. Since my little pony has buffed up quite a bit. If you like real leather I’d suggest the Bates Caprilli. One of the girls I ride with has one and loves it. I have the wintec pro dressage and I love it because it is made with equisuede and it is super grippy. Mix my saddle with full seat breeches and I feel like I’m glued in the saddle! Lol. But these are just my preferences in saddles…If I had the money I’d buy a saddle from www.balanceinternational.com/ like my riding instructor, but sadly my horse is eating up my money faster than I can save it.

Here’s the link for an auction on ebay right now for the caprilli. And it comes with a bucking strap lol. I LOVE having a bucking strap on my saddle. Or as I call it my “oh crap strap”. I’d also suggest that you get one for any saddle you get if you don’t already have one. But then again these are just my opinions.

If it fits you both, go for it.

If it fits her but not you, maybe.

If it fits you but not her, don't even think about buying it.

Here's hoping it fits you both.

I've always found that when shopping, I need to wait and save to get what I Really want. Otherwise, I just end up buying it later and it costs more.

I agree SB, That is what I am thinking. She's giving me 48 hours to return it. I'm going to fit it on her tonight and then ride her in it either tonight or tomorrow. I hope it fits. It's the saddle that I've loved from the get go!

Thanks GTTR, if I would have seen the Ebay one I would have probably tried it, it's not my dream saddle, but it looks nice!!
