So the surgery is scheduled! It was suppose to be done next week, but I asked to wait another week because I need to fight insurance and make sure that they will pay for this. I've never made a claim, come one National Equine Adjusting!
Ugh. I think I'm going to be sick. So after her surgery on her right hind we will continue to rehab her left hind. Seriously, does anyone else have a more accident prone horse??? Anyone? One thing is for sure, no one in their right mind would EVER, EVER buy her!!! EVER!!!
Ask me what she's getting surgery on... I'm not even sure!

Good luck on that. I think Indigo might be more accident prone. Luckily her accidents I can mostly fix myself or with a small vet fee compared to surgery.
Hope the insurance company comes through for you - it seems pretty clear-cut to me that it should be covered.
Maybe it's just as well you don't know all the details...let the experts do their thing while you live blissfully in the dark:)
Really, though, I don't know how you do it. I think you win horse mom of the year!
I love reading your blog, but never really comment, so sorry if this is out of the blue ;)
Anyways, my big TB racked up quite the reputation with National Equine, and they were *always* very easy to work with even though we were a constant pain in the backside. So good luck, and keep us posted :)
I was about to ask you what the surgery was!! Insurance companies are a PITA, good look and don't take no for an answer!
I'd put my Jaz in the running for most accident prone.
Accident prone=OTTBS for sure.
I hope all goes really well and you can get her settle in to her new routine soon.
7/1 seems to have a lucky number ring to it! :)
