Blogger, I hate you.

So I did something to my blog. It went crazy and I had to change the background. Boo blogger, boo!! If I could just figure out how to make my picture longer or edit it to make it "neat" then I'd probalby be happy. Right now I don't like it.

Had an amazing, AMAZING ride on the morgan last night. Then I got totally depressed after. I want Denali to be like that, and she won't be. I did notice that I tense up when I'm riding and hear a noise. I guess I could say that I spook. I'm just so use to being on Denali and those noises = to a wild ride.

Other than that, show is tomorrow and I'm going out to beautify the pony. I think people can still post comments on here. If you can't e-mail me @ rehabdenali@yahoo.com

Peaceful weekend everyone! Also, if anyone can make a bigger picture let me know!

One of my favorite Mark Rashid sayings: "Your horse spooked, you spooked, and you ran off together"!

LOL, that is great Kate!
Blogger is on drugs lately..it keeps adding new things, taking them away, etc. I think you hit a new design template and it's thrown off some of your images. Grrr, but the background sure is pretty :)
I spook too. It sucks. I make it worse for Laz. I literally ride him now and do my YOGA breathing..seems to help and I envision nothing but good. If I fall, I fall. If he spooks, I'm going to try and go with him. We'll see....lol!

ah the art and zen of horse back riding. It's my form of meditation.... once you get to where you can leave everything behind you and only feel and be the connection between you and the horse....

Yea, I know blah blah blah... in my own defense it was the only way to deal with my crazy mares. I had to learn to ride that way because any little startle and spook; I'd be on my a$$ and the horse would be off to their stall.

It's all smoke and mirrors. If you feel confident and ride confident the horse will follow. Fall apart and your on your own. After all they are flight animals and only doing what's natural to them. Your the leader; remember it's the head mare in the heard who has the real power. Take charge and they will follow. I'm convinced it's the women in the heard who have it much easier.

On the blogger not you just need to make your picture larger (recrop it) and replace the original text and bam, ur done...

I'm happy with what they've done. I'm finally happy with the look of my blog and not having to spend weeks redesigning it.

Good luck! Hope D is feeling better.
