Middle School

Is it just me or is the horse world bare a scary resemblance to middle school? Is it just me? I hate, HATE, HATE drama. I'm the first to turn tail and run when it rears its ugly head. Seriously thought the amount of drama that is in middle school, and the amount of drama that is in the horse world....equal. Is it like this where you live?

Yep. Its why I shy away from the horse folks unless I *have* to interact with them (ie: barn calls.) And even then my interaction is limited to small talk and setting up the next appointment.

A yup...I have a whole blog devoted to the 7 barns I have been in..it is ugly and I have never let anyone read it..I rant alot! My last one took the cake though and I may start to mention some tings next mo...it has actually been a year since they kicked me out for $300 dollars more for the pasture I rented from them.
I am very happy now...though I do not have an arena(that is sad).

Seriously! I have had the craziest drama weekend. All because someone lied to me.

Oh yes. The horse people in my life, a good majority of them anyway, seem to be dead set on causing drama. Luckily my horse reminds me that he is all that matters, and the people worth my time don't start petty fights :)

Nasty drama... winter has been super drama free for me because no one else wants to ride. ;-)

Sorry about the barn drama, seems to be the downfall of the equestrian world. It follows no matter where your at; fancy barns, hell hole barns. I used to think it was because I was surrounded by DQ's; but western barns and jumping barns were just as bad. There are always the same players too; the agitators, the layers, the cliquish group who aren't going to be friendly cause ur not one of them; and my favourite - the know it all who tells everyone their doing everything wrong. It's like High School; just way more expensive.
